I haven’t been back since, but hope that the car park at Willington is now returned from being part of the river!
This beautiful bridge links Willington to Repton – which might explain why Repton seems (to me) to be a village that time forgot as it wasn’t built until 1839. Before that you had to pay someone to ferry you across the river on a small barge…

Right in the centre is a barn with calves, luckily built just high enough not to be flooded.
